The Bournemouth Christmas Tree Wonderland is a spectacular festive trail which features over 100 glittering trees and illuminations.
Found in the Lower Gardens between the sea and the town centre, the Wonderland is a magical attraction which all ages will enjoy.
Starting at Pier Approach you are greeted by the Illuminated Big Wheel and the beautiful Moscow Tree which lights up blue. As you pass under the flyover and enter the gardens the white lit Tree of Light and pink Warsaw Tree come into view. Stop at the Rockery and see a stream of cascading blue lights ‘trickling’ into the stream below.
The Seattle Tree features a modern twist of giant white lit baubles whereas the Bethlehem Tree incorporates a traditional nativity scene. Vodafone’s Gigafast Tree of Light glows bright red and South Western Railway’s St Petersburg Tree illuminates in bright blue.
Probably the most popular tree is the Bournemouth Wonderland Tree. Standing at an impressive 60ft tall, this giant walk through tree features an amazing 30,000 individually programmable LED lights which regularly change colour – don’t miss the spectacular music and light shows!
Continue along the enchanted walkways and marvel at the many twinkling lights. And don’t forget to take your photo with the Giant Teddy and Gingerbread Men – all lit up of course!
Finally you’ll pop out at the top of the gardens in the heart of the Christmas Market with stalls selling festive gifts and yummy food.
Catch the FREE Wonderland until 2nd January 2020. Find out more at christmastreewonderland.co.uk/
